Has anyone noticed if lighter colors like teal or light blue make your teeth look brighter, or is that just a myth?

Honestly, I tried light blue once thinking it’d be all “tooth-whitening magic,” but it kinda just made my teeth look the same—maybe a tiny bit brighter, but nothing wild. Stains did show up a bit faster though, especially after spaghetti night. Still, if you’re bored with darker colors, it’s fun to switch it up every now and then. Navy really is the sweet spot, though—you nailed it with that pick.

Lighter colors like teal or light blue can sometimes make your teeth look a bit whiter, but it’s not a guarantee. It mostly depends on your natural tooth shade and lighting. I’ve seen some folks pull off light blue and look great, but stains do show up quicker—coffee and curry are the usual suspects. Darker shades like navy or even deep green tend to hide stains better and make teeth pop more. If you’re feeling adventurous, try a few different shades over time and see what works for you... just maybe skip white or yellow unless you want your teeth looking extra yellowish.
