I've heard similar stories about aligners getting tossed accidentally—seems like it's pretty common. I'm curious though, aside from the occasional mishap, have you noticed any issues with your bite or jaw alignment since starting this treatment? I've read some mixed experiences online about aligners causing temporary discomfort or even changes in bite alignment. Wondering if you've experienced anything similar or if it's been smooth sailing overall.

My daughter had some jaw soreness at first, which made me pretty nervous... but it eased up after a week or two. No major bite issues yet, thankfully. Still keeping an eye on things though.

Did the jaw soreness happen mostly in the mornings, or was it kind of random throughout the day? I've noticed some stiffness myself, usually right after waking up, but it fades pretty quickly... Wondering if that's common or just me.

Mine was mostly mornings too, especially early on. Dentist said it's pretty common since we tend to clench or grind teeth overnight without realizing it. Maybe try a warm compress or gentle jaw stretches first thing—it helped me a lot.

Yeah, I've definitely caught myself doing that too... especially when I'm stressed. Did your dentist mention anything about night guards helping with alignment issues, or are they just for comfort? I'm curious now.
