“Kind of feels like cleaning Tupperware—never quite sure it’s 100% clean.”

That’s the perfect comparison. I’ve tried the vinegar trick, too, and you’re right—it works, but the taste is... interesting. I do think gentle brushing with dish soap is underrated, though. I used to be paranoid about scratching mine, but honestly, as long as I use a soft brush, it’s held up fine. The ultrasonic cleaner is handy for a deep clean, but I wouldn’t say it’s magic. For me, consistency matters more than fancy products.

Right there with you. I used to obsess over every new gadget and rinse, but honestly, just sticking to the basics made the biggest difference. I did try one of those ultrasonic cleaners after seeing them all over TikTok—meh, not bad, but nothing life-changing. Brushing gently and not skipping days is what finally got my gums to chill out. I still can’t do the vinegar thing, though... that aftertaste lingers forever.

I’m with you on the basics over fancy stuff. My wallet can’t handle all those trending gadgets anyway, and honestly, I never noticed a big difference when I tried them. Gentle brushing and flossing daily helped my gums more than anything else. That vinegar rinse? Tried it once—never again.

Same here. I tried a bunch of those gadgets, but my gums honestly responded better to just sticking with the basics. That vinegar rinse—never again for me either. My mouth felt weird for hours after. Sometimes simple really is best.

It’s funny, I got caught up in all those fancy tools too—water flossers, special rinses, you name it. In the end, nothing beat just taking my time with brushing and using plain floss. My orthodontist actually warned me about harsh rinses like vinegar. Did anyone here notice a difference when they switched toothbrush types? I found using a soft-bristled one made my gums less sensitive during treatment.
