MY GUMS ARE ACTING UP AND I'M WORRIED ABOUT LOSING TEETH

Lately I've noticed my gums are kinda sore and bleeding a bit when I brush. Honestly, it's freaking me out because my uncle had similar issues and ended up losing a couple teeth. He told me he wished he'd paid attention sooner, you know? I've tried switching to a softer toothbrush and being gentler, but I'm not sure that's enough. Has anyone else dealt with gum issues like this before it got serious?

Had something similar happen to me a while back - bleeding gums, soreness, the whole deal. Thought softer brushing would fix it too, but turns out I needed to floss way more consistently. Do you floss regularly or is it kinda hit and miss? Once I made flossing a daily habit, the bleeding stopped after about a week. Might be worth trying before worrying too much about it getting serious...

Had the same exact issue when I had braces - gums were sore, bleeding randomly, and honestly it freaked me out a bit. I tried brushing softer too, but turns out flossing was the real game changer. Took me a while to get into the habit (kept forgetting at first lol), but after about a week or two of flossing every night, things seriously improved. Maybe give that a shot before stressing too much... teeth are tougher than you think!
