What does a tooth-splinting fee usually cover?
When comparing estimates for splinting a loose tooth during periodontal treatment, is the fee usually per tooth or for splinting several teeth together? I’d also like to know whether the quoted amount commonly includes the splint materials and follow-up adjustment visits, or whether those are billed separately.
How are later repairs or removal typically priced? I’m not looking for a specific price so much as a clearer sense of what to ask the office to spell out in an estimate.

For the follow-up part, it may help to have the estimate list the initial splint placement separately from scheduled adjustment visits, then show repair and removal charges as their own items. That makes it clear whether routine adjustments are included without assuming later repairs or removal are covered too.
